Takua Pa Hospital - Supporting those in Need

There is an almost free medical programme in Thailand (cost: 30 Baht/$1-00/visit). However, treament by some specialists, and transportation to major hospitals are not covered under this scheme.

All for Villages is working closely with Takua Pa Hospital and Dr. Chai to support those who otherwise would be denied the medical care they need. Many rural Thais are unable to afford just the transportation, or an MRI so we cover the gaps.

For example, a four year old boy diagnosed with cancer needed to go to Bangkok, a 10 hour drive away to see a pediatric oncologist. The family were unable to afford either the trip or the two days in Bangkok. All for Villages found the funds to cover these expenses for the family.
